More information about the ladies:
Froukje Walther La Maison was born in Holland and has been “Toulousaine” since 2002.
She graduated from National Dance Conservatory of Rotterdam and worked as a dancer before coming to France. Wanting to improve her body knowledge, she decided to
study the Romana’s/true pilates education program in Scheveningen (Holland) and graduated in
2006. Upon graduating, she created the Pilates Studio in Toulouse. The human body, and the different primal connections between body and mind are the things that inspire her.
Svintha Bootsma has a background in hospitality, project management and online marketing. Her vast experience working on four different continents, prepared her for her jump to entrepreneurship. As a co-founder of online slow-fashion boutique Common Texture, she is passionate about the handcrafted products produced by artisans in remote places across the globe and love to show our worldwide client base how, and most importantly, who made them.
