About the event

As a member club of FAWCO, we are fortunate to have a representative from FAWCO USA to come and talk to us about the global organization and their efforts in global initiatives.

About Therese Hartwell: she lived in Saudi Arabia for 10 years before returning to her hometown, Houston, TX, two years ago.  While in Saudi, Therese served as First VP, President and FAWCO Rep for the American Women of the Eastern Province as well as on the FAWCO Human Rights Global Issues Team, which she has chaired since 2015.  Therese is also on the board of Collateral Repair Project and nominated their project, Hope Beyond Displacement for the FAWCO Target Project.

About the restaurant, Les Crêpes de Benoît: An organic creperie in the St. Etienne neighborhood, offering us a choice of drink, savory galette and dessert for 23 euros. Several members have been there already and is highly recommended.
